Comment Policy
- Comments are encouraged. A good, healthy, respectful discussion is good for everyone.
- Comments posted directly to the article and the link posted to the Facebook page are displayed in both locations.
- Please recognize the difference between comments and personal messages. If it’s about the content or theme of a specific blog post then leave a comment, otherwise you can contact me directly.
- Keep comments to a reasonable length, less than 500 words would probably be good. If you have more than that to say, then please feel free to respond on your own blog and post a link or you can contact me and I can more easily address it in another blog post or two.
- Don’t copy and paste a blog post or essay you’ve written into a comment. Feel free to give a summary of the content that is clear as to why it’s relevant and link to it or send it to me.
- Spam is prohibited. Several methods are utilized to minimize spam including Akismet and WordPress‘s built in filtering, but they do not always work. To minimize the risk of your comment being marked as spam it should be clear how a link, picture, or video is relevant. If you think your comment was marked as spam in error, please contact me and be very specific so I can look for it.
- I reserve the right to remove comments that do not follow this policy, with or without warning.
- This is my blog so I am the final judge on all maters. If I warn you about a violation of this policy and you ignore my warnings you may find yourself banned.
- This policy is subject to change with or without notice.
