The religion of “peace”

Muslims claim that Islam is the religion of peace, but let’s look the record on the current debacle. An American violates his parole to make a film critical of Islam and Muhammad, so how do the practitioners of the religion of “peace” respond to an insult like that?

In Libya, which mind you US military pilots and CIA operatives helped give the right to protest, they took down the consulate and killed the US ambassador and three other diplomats.

In Pakistan, hundreds broke through a barricade outside the US Consulate.

Hezbollah is encouraging more protests, with their leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah saying:

The ones who should be held accountable and boycotted are those who support and protect the producers, namely the U.S. administration,

In Tunisia they’ve attacked the US embassy.

In Sudan thousands of protesters have gone completely insane. Not only have the scaled the wall of the US embassy to raise an Islamic flag, but they’re also protesting the British and German embassies.

I can’t recall the last time when their religious sensitivities have prompted Christians, Jews, Jains, Buddhists, Hindus, or members of any other religion to respond with such violence. People are dying.

You shall know them by their fruit and it’s pretty clear that Islam is a religion of violence and a religion that hates freedom. Islam is in need of a good reformation, or better yet, to become nothing more than a note in a history book.

  2. Thanks as always. I’ve been distro hopping and just returned to Arch Linux, I had remembered to install the spellchecker, but not the dictionary. That’s been corrected now.
